We talked about inaccurate information on the internet a number of times, both in the context of private information providers such as ChoicePoint and aggregators such as Spokeo. In case you missed this op-ed, here is an example from NTY/IHT about someone who according to Wikia, was supposed to have died in 1997. Correcting the error was not as simple as just editing the Wikia entry.
