Strange thing for mobile phone we see in the image is a work of the mobile phone designer Heyon You and is called Samsung Galaxy Skin.

This mobile technology has not yet been invented or is being developed. For now,Samsung seems to have a prototype of what would be their AMOLED screen. Mobile could give you many uses GPS guidance to place on the dashboard, speaker, projector and even watch. It’s clearly a very interesting concept phone and flexible in both form and function.

Innovation by Govt: Panic button

The US State Department is working promoting a "panic button" application that pro-democracy campaigners can press to "wipe out the phone's address book and emit emergency alerts ot other activists" reports NYT.  Apparently there's been a specific budget ($50m since 2008) for promoting technologies for social activists, particularly "circumvention" technology.  There has also been training in new technologies.  The obvious concern here comes back to the old adage: one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter.

No longer an accessory ... but part of the wardrobe

That's right! No need to carry a phone - with the M-dress  all you need is a SIM card … and you'll never miss a call!

Get your "elegant silk jersey dress"  today and while you are at it you may want to pick up those "Space Leggings" which are "Reflective and make you look like a Rockstar" unfortunately "These leggings do not contain electronics"

Why must women have all the fun?

A mobile phone that's also a laptop.

The Motorola Atrix 4G is taking another shot at one of the IT indutry's holy grails: a handphone that can also serve as your primary computer. Just drop the phone into the back of the laptop and you have a full size, if somewhat limited, computer. The phone even recharges while you work. Based on reviews there is still some room for improvement, but its not hard to imagine a future where this is the norm.  http://www.comcast.net/articles/news-technology/20110216/US.TEC.Digital.Life.Tech.Test.Motorola.Atrix/
