This is a good example of how 'hubs' play an important role in facilitating adoption in a networked market. Hubs are players that are connected to *many* players … so in this case Apple, but other examples include Microsoft, Google etc.

Here is a story from Mashable suggesting Posterous has not yet crossed the chasm ... despite the 'blog import' tool which reduces switching costs and lower $ costs since posterous is free.
Another South African idea - There was a PBS story on this in 2005 and it seemed like a great idea to solve water problems in a sustainable way - and indeed also raise advertising revenue.

The video 'Fog Catcher' is (edited) from episode four of an eight-episode series Hot Cities which aired on BBC World in winter 2009. The series shows the differential effects of climate change in major cities in the world. In other words climate change impacts manifest in different ways … as a public health problem in Jakarta and as a water shortage in Lima. Of course the series also provides examples of 'innovation in context' and why innovation is not just about counting patents, R&D expenditures and personnel.
