Long live the "Technium"

Here are some interesting graphs from Kevin Kelly's splendid book: What Technology Wants.

The light bulb would have been invented anyways - there is no monopoly on ideas - don't be afraid to share yours!

If not by Edison then by someone else - The Technium has a mind of its own - its like a biological system (complex adaptive system). Technology is inevitable.

Stuff is becoming more complex

Banning - or trying to stop the march of the Technium does not work.

And we love technology - so adoption times - or the path to ubiquity gets shorter and shorter.
